Disclosure Policy

I may receive a commission for purchases made through links in this post.

Hi I’m Clare – the Editor in Chief at a Pocketful of Pixie Dust. I need to tell you that many of our posts contain product links (also known as affiliate links). These links allow me to make an income from this website; some companies pay me if you click on one of their links, while others pay me if you make a purchase. This payment is called a commission payment and it is made at NO cost to you. Think of it as a referral fee, the companies pay me for sending new business their way.

One of the companies I share links from is Amazon. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

Would You Like to Make Money Working From Home Too?

I love working online because it means I can stay home and home educate my children. Running a blog or hanging out on Pinterest is totally flexible so I can fit my work around them (mostly working in my Pjs while they’re sleeping!)

Did You Know You Can Get Paid to Be on Pinterest?

One of the ways I make money online is using Pinterest. I love Pinterest! I remember when my twins were teeny babies I would spend hours on Pinterest looking up parenting tips and cute baby things. I wish I’d known back then that you can actually get paid for sharing stuff there!

Check out this blog post from Christina which tells you how you can get started making money with Pinterest. About half way down that post is a form you can fill in to get her free email course which shows you what you need to do.

I started following Christina’s steps about three months ago and have already been paid $300!

Or Would You Rather Start a Blog?

Running a blog is certainly more time consuming than making money just using Pinterest, but it’s definitely worth the effort when the income you earn is enough to contribute towards your family’s expenses. I know many bloggers who have also been able to pay off their debts this way.

There are lots of mistakes you can make though which can trip you up before you even get started. Which is why I’m going to introduce you to my mentor Scrivs. He is a really good guy (who just became a dad for the first time) and he has several successful blogs. He is crazy about testing new ideas to see what works and what doesn’t and then sharing the information so the rest of us can just shortcut to the good stuff!

If you want to know how to start a blog then hop over to Scriv’s place and pop your name and email address into the box to get free access to his 12 day blogging bootcamp. So many bloggers have “how to start a blog” posts on their websites but I’m not even going to bother trying to write one because his is hands down the best I’ve ever read and it actually works!
